Advantage Academy for Alternative Learning is a nonpublic school offering a highly effective, and individualized quality education to those students who are unable to reach their maximum potential in a traditional school setting. Public education in today’s society places emphasis on passing state standardized tests, therefore students who are unable to keep up in class seem to get left behind. Such students are usually those students who include but are not limited to students who are slow learners, academically challenged students, students with Attention Deficit Disorder, (ADD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, (ADHD). Advantage strongly believes that every child is adaptable to learning in an environment that is conducive to learning. This means that children should be placed in environments without interruptions, as well as an environment that is not rushed.

Advantage Academy is a nonpublic homeschool, and is able to provide an environment that is comfortable, small, nurturing, and patient, with individualized attention given to each student. Each student is given individualized assignments which are specific to their needs. So what ever the level of achievement, students are given assignments that are conducive to their achievement level. Unlike a public school environment that continues to move ahead whether your child understands or not, Advantage Academy does not move your child along until each concept is fully grasped. In other words each student achieves at their own level, and at their own pace. We recognize that all children are teachable if given the opportunity in an environment that is not rushed, and focused on passing state standardized tests.

Advantage Academy is able to get optimal results because we are staffed with highly qualified certified teachers who are life long learners, with insurmountable years of teaching experience in various environment types. Our teaching staff has a passion for learning, and therefore is passionate about getting optimal results from each student.

Even though our school is a non public homeschool, our tuition is competitively low. Payment plans are also available.
